Why I'm Running
Meet Candidate
As a current Union member, renter and working-class parent, I am proud to run for City Council in District 11, Denver's heartbeat. Our district powers the comforts that everyone in Denver enjoys, and I want to make sure we have someone representing us who understands what working families face every day in this community.
Stand for Something
Where I Stand
What's pressing District 11…
-
Corporate Landlords
Our district is inundated with corporations owning properties. Whether it be single-family homes or apartments. These corporations often outbid potential homebuyers in our community by overpaying $200K more. It’s time to put a stop to this and take our neighborhood back from corporations. By stopping the purchase of single-family homes in Denver and not allowing build-to-rent homes, we can preserve existing homes and have new ones built for everyone to afford.
-
Teen Summit
Mental health is important even on good days. Our youth should have access to mental health services, available to them exclusively. This can serve as an opening for them to express themselves and not hold onto emotional trauma. This is also good for families to work through traumatic life experiences and life issues we all face that sometimes become too heavy to deal with. With the help of local churches and other present community members, we can solve this issue together.
-
Surveillance Regulation
Everywhere you turn in Denver, you’re being watched. In the parking lot at Sprouts, turning the corner in your neighborhood, walking down the aisle in your local store, there’s AI facial recognition being used and collecting data on you, most times without your permission. You deserve to know who is collecting data on you every time you move in your neighborhood, and you deserve to know what is being done with that data. More importantly, you deserve the option to opt out.
-
Homes, not Housing
Housing is temporary, but homes are forever. I believe that anyone who wants to make the Montbello/ Green Valley Ranch area home should be able to do so regardless of their income level. Housing is a temporary solution that is being used loosely to mean apartments. Let’s get homes that are affordable for all of our neighbors in D11.

Support Our Campaign
We have to find low-cost ways to fix the real-time problems our neighbors are facing right now. There’s no more time to debate–it’s time to act.
